Exelon (rivastigmine) Therapeutic Class: anti-Alzheimer's agent Pharmacologic: cholinergic (cholinesterase inhibitors) | Treat mild to moderate dementia associated with Alzheimer's disease. Decreased dementia (temporary) associated with Alzheimer's disease and Parkinson's disease. Enhance cognitive ability. |
Namenda (memantine) Therapeutic Class: anti-Alzheimer's agents Pharmacologic: N-methyl-D-aspartate antagonist | Treat moderate to severe dementia/neurocognitive disorder associated with Alzheimer's disease.
