Review the definitions and key signatures of the major scales up to 3 sharps
| Term | Definition |

| Major Scale | a series of ascending or descending notes, the pattern of intervals is whole step, whole step, half step, whole step, whole step, whole step, half step or WWH WWWH |
| Key Signature | sharps of flats after the clef that change certain notes throughout the entire piece |
| half step | the smallest interval between 2 notes - no notes can go in between these notes |
| whole step | two half steps, or a major 2nd interval |
| sharp | raises the pitch of the note by one half step |
| Key Signature of C Major | no sharps or flats |
| Key Signature of G Major | F# |
| Key Signature of D Major | F# and C# |
| Key Signature of A Major | F#, C# and G# |
