Major Scale Review

Review the definitions and key signatures of the major scales up to 3 sharps

TermDefinition
Major Scale a series of ascending or descending notes, the pattern of intervals is whole step, whole step, half step, whole step, whole step, whole step, half step or WWH WWWH
Key Signature sharps of flats after the clef that change certain notes throughout the entire piece
half step the smallest interval between 2 notes - no notes can go in between these notes
whole step two half steps, or a major 2nd interval
sharp raises the pitch of the note by one half step
Key Signature of C Major no sharps or flats
Key Signature of G Major F#
Key Signature of D Major F# and C#
Key Signature of A Major F#, C# and G#
