Motion

Distance, Displacement, Vector, and Scalar

TermDefinition
Vector An object having direction as well as magnitude.
Scalar An object having only magnitude, not direction.
Distance The amount of space between two objects.
Displacement An object that has moved from its place/position.
Speed The rate at which an object is able to move or operate.
Velocity The speed of an object with a direction.
Motion The action movement.
