Shapes and Configurations

Annular Circular, begins in center and spreads to periphery
Confluent lesions run together
Discrete distinct individual lesions that remain separate
Grouped clusters of lesions
Gyrate twisted coiled, spiral, snakelike
Target iris, resembles iris of eye, concentric rings of color in lesions
Linear a scratch, streak, line or stripe
Polycyclic annular lesions grow together
