| stem | a part of a plant that connects the roots and leaves, holds the plant up, and moves the water and nutrients to the leaves |
| leaf | a part of a plant that is attached to the stem and carries out photosynthesis to make food for the plant |
| flower | a part of the plant that blooms and produces seeds that can become new plants |
| seed | a small object produced by a plant from which a new plant can grow |
| fruit | the edible part of a flowering plant that contains seeds |
