Adhension the process of different molecules or surfaces clinging to each other
Cohension the process of molecules of the same substance sticking to each due to attraction
Hydrogen bond attraction between a highly electronegative charge atom in one polar bond and s lightly positive hydrogen atom in another polar bond
Polar a covalent bond that electrons are not shared equally
Surface Tension surface of a liquid that allows to resist an external force due to its cohesive nature of its molecules
Atom smallest particle of an element that is made up of similar properites called protons,neutrons,and electrons
Essential Element a chemical nutrient that is vital for an organism to successfully grow and develop
Macromolecule a giant molecule that is made up of smaller molecules,caused by a condensation reaction

Dehydration Synthesis a chemical reaction when two molecules bond by either losing one or more water molecules
Hydrolysis a process in which water is used to break down a compund
