TermDefinition
Nervous system Its made up of nerves, a spinal cord, and the brain. It is responsible for carrying information and responding to that information.
Circulatory system This system transports oxygen and nutrients to all cells in the body.
Respiratory system Its responsible for supplying your body with oxygen.
Digestive system It is responsible for processing food into useful nutrients into your body.
Excretory/Urinary system Its made up of organs that rid your blood of wastes and control blood volume by removing excess water produced by cells.
Skeletal system Its main function is to support the body.
Muscular system Its made up of tissues and organs that are responsible for voluntary and involuntary movement.
Immune system Its responsible for keeping you healthy and fighting diseases that enter your body.
