| Amyotrophic | loss of muscle control |
| Anticholinesterase | drugs that cause a cholinergic crisis |
| Atrophy | tissue wasting away |
| Demyelination | occurs when myelin, which is the protective coating of nerve cells, experiences damage |
| Fasciculation | brief, spontaneous contraction or twitch in a muscle |
| Neuralgia | a stabbing, burning, and often severe pain due to an irritated or damaged nerve. |
| Neuropathies | is damage or dysfunction of one or more nerves that typically results in numbness, tingling, muscle weakness and pain in the affected area. |
| Plasmapheresis | plasma exchange |
| Ptosis | drooping eyelids |
| Remyelination | is the process of propagating oligodendrocyte precursor cells to form oligodendrocytes to create new myelin sheaths on demyelinated axons in the CNS. |
