Endoplasmic Reticulum A network of passageways that transports materials

Cell membrane Controls what enters/exits the cell
Golgi body Receives protein from ER packages + sends them around the cell
Prophase DNA forms X-shaped chromosomes + spindle fibers appear
Metaphase When chromosomes meet down the middle
Antaphase The chromosomes separate at the centromeres
Telophase The chromosomes uncoil; 2 new nuclear membranes appear
Stage 1 Interphase- The cell grows + duplicates its DNA
Stage 2 Mitosis- The nucleus divides (4 phases)
Stage 3 Cytokinesis- The cell membrane pinches the cytoplasm into 2 cells
Active trasport Uses energy to move a molecule from low to high concentration
Passive transport Oxygen moves through the membrane from a high to low concentration
