| Star | A huge, bright ball of burning gas that is held together by gravity |
| Planet | A large object in space that revolves around a star, like our Sun, and shines by reflected light |
| Constellation | A group of stars that form a pattern when viewed from Earth |
| Axis | An imaginary line through the center of an object |
| Moonb Phase | Shapes of the moon as it changes location |
| Rotation | The spinning motion of an object on its axis ( Earth rotating on its axis) |
| Revolution | The motion of an object around another object . |
| Shadow | A dark area or shape produced by a body coming between rays of light and a surface |
