Digital Footprint The trail of data left on social media from your past or present.
Cookies Cookies are text files with small pieces of data, like your passwords and usernames. Cookies are labeled with an ID that is unique to your computer.
GeoLocation Your location from your internet data/social media.
MetaData A set of data that gives information about other data.
Data The actions you do on your computer or social media that comes in quantities, that is stored in your files.
Spreadsheet An online document that's used to manipulate spreadsheets.
Browser History The pages and sites that you have clicked on that is recorded in your history.
Digital Literacy An individuals ability to find, evaluate, and compose clear information through writing and other media on various digital platforms.
Blog A regularly updated website or page/channel that is said or written in conversational style.
Dossier A collection of documents about a person, place, or event.
Derogatory Giving a critical or disrespectful attitude or tone.
Social Networking The use of dedicated websites and applications to interact with other users, or to find people with similar interests to oneself.
Viral An image, video, advertisement, etc., that is circulated rapidly on the internet.
Profile A short article giving a description of a person or organization.
Privacy Settings A list of setting that can help protect your computer, monitor who you befriend, etc.
