The Digestive System

Teeth hold, tear, and chew food
Tongue moves food mass in a small, soft ball to the rear of the mouth where it is swallowed
Liver produces digestive juice called bile
Gall Bladder stores bile until needed for digestion
Small Intestine orbs useable food substances which are sent to all the body parts by blood vessels. Food digestion is now complete
Rectum holds solid waste and controls its release from the body
Large Intestine storess unused solid substances after water is removed
Pancreas produces digestive juices to further break down food digestion
Stomach receives food,churns it, and adds gastric juices to it
Esophagus food passageway between mouth and stomach
Salivary Glands secrete juices into the mouth
