| transpiration | the process of water vapor leaving a plant through the stomata in their leaves and entering the atmosphere |
| respiration | the process in which animals release water vapor |
| condensation | the process of changing from a gas to a liquid, such as water vapor changing into water |
| precipitation | water falling to the surface of the Earth in the form of rain, hail, sleet, or snow from clouds in the sky |
| groundwater | water below Earth's surface |
| interactions | actions by 1 thing that have an effect on a different or separate thing |
| puncture | to make a hole in something |
| conserve | saving resources |
| advantage | a good thing |
