What does adaptation mean? a change in the physical structure or behavior of an organism to allow it to survive, protect itself and reproduce in its environment.
Name two types of adaptations. physical and behavioral
What is physical adaptation? When the body of the animal changes in response to a change in its environment.
What is behavioral adaptation? something an organism does or how it acts.
How does the mud snail have a behavioral adaptation to survive in the salt marsh? They will climb up high on the cordgrass at high tide
