Auxiliary Views and Revolutions
| Term | Definition |

| Reference planes | are parallel to the inclined or oblique surfaces |
| Auxiliary Views | is seeing the true size of an inclined surface |
| Revolutions | as well is also another name for a revolved view. |
| Auxiliary plane | is an imaginary plane to a surface that appears foreshortened in the normal views |
| Primary Auxiliary Views | is one that is developed directly from the normal view |
| Partial auxiliary view | is when an auxiliary view lets out some element that came out. |
| Auxiliary sections | are when a cutting plane is not parallel to any of the normal views |
| Edge views | is an auxiliary section being located by using the cutting plane presented. |
| Secondary plane | is a view projected from a primary auxiliary view. |
| Oblique plane | is one that is inclined to all three of the normal planes. |
| axis of revolution | An object that revolves about one of the axes |
| successive revolutions | is the process of an object first around an axis perpendicular to one plane |
