QuestionAnswer
What does astronomy mean? The study of the moon, stars, and other objects.
What is the object in the center of the Geocentric System? The Earth.
Who proposed the Heliocentric System? Copernicus
What keeps all the planets in orbit? The Sun.
What planet is red? Mars.
What are tides? The daily rise and fall of Earth's water on the shore.
How do seasons occur? The Earth's tilt.
How often do high tides occur? About every 12 hours.
What does rotation mean? The spinning motion of a planet about its axis.
What does phase mean? One of the different shapes of the moon as seen from Earth.
