what causes seasons? Earth has seasons because its axis is tilted.
what causes tides? Tides are the result of the gravitational pull of the moon and sun on the surfaces waters of earth.
what is the geocentric theory? The geocentric theory is that the earth is believed to be at the center of the universe.
which planet has the greenhouse effect? Venus.
how long does it take for the moon to revolve around earth? 27.3 days or 1 month.
why do we usually only see one side of the moon shining? We only see one lit side cause the sun reflects light, the amount of light we see changes based on where the moon is in orbit around the earth
how would you describe spring tide? Spring tide has the greatest difference between high and low tide which occurs when the sun and moon are aligned in a line with the earth.
when was the first landing on the moon? July 20, 1969- Neil Armstrong
