Waves legnths

TermDefinition
Transverse wave A type of wave that transfers energy from one place to another.
Crest The highest peak of a transverse wave.
Trough The lowest point of a transverse wave.
Amplitude The height of a transversive wave measured from the resting point to the crest.
Node The point on a wave where the wave crosses the resting point.
