What safety procedures should you follow when heating a substance? Never put a cover on a heating liquid, wear goggles, wear heat protective gear, never point toward yourself
List the 7 parts of the metric system Kilo, hecto, deka, units(grams, liters, meters), deci, centi, milli
Why do we repeat an experiment? It makes the experiment more valid
What are the two things that make an experiment more valid? Have large sample sizes and multiple traits, have a control and experimental group, and test one variable
What do you do with extra chemical solutions that you no longer need when working in a lab? Ask your teacher what to do with the extra chemicals before immediately disposing of it
What are the 6 parts of a quality graph? Title, do not connect to zero, zero unless its in the data, spread out data, determine the scale of the graph, label axes with units, and identify the independent and dependent variables
