Earth's Sphere's

TermDefinition
Biosphere All the living matter on Earth such plants and animals in the many biome’s on Earth. Bio = living.
Geosphere Non-living soil, rocks, and minerals that make up the land of Earth. Geo = Rock or ground
Atmosphere All the air that surrounds the Earth. Atmo = Air
Hydrosphere Includes all the water on the Earth. Hydro = Water All the oceans, rivers, lakes, and streams of the world and CLOUDS
Cryosphere Includes all of the ice covering land and water such as icebergs and snow on mountains. Cryo = ice
Sphere globe or ball.
Lithosphere Top layer of the earth's geosphere. litho - stone, rock
