| beaker | a deep cup or glass with a wide mouth and usually for a lip for pouring |
| Erlenmeyer flask | flat bottomed laboratory flask that taper upward to a straight neck |
| funnel | a utensil usually shaped like a hollow cone with a tube extending from the point and used to catch and direct a downward flow (as liquid) |
| Graduated cylinder | a tall narrow container with a volume scale used especially for measuring liquids |
| petri dish | a small shallow of thin glass or plastic with a loose cover used especially |
| pipette | a device for measuring and transferring small volumes of liquid that typically consist of a narrow glass tube into which the liquid is drawn suction and kept by blocking the upper end |
| spot plate | glass plate usually with several small depressions for use in spot test |
| test tube | a thin glass tube closed at one end used to hold small amounts of materials for laboratory or |
