| Term | Definition |

| BEAKER | a deep cup or glass with a wide mouth usually a lip for pouring |
| ERLENMEYER FLASH | a flat bottomed laboratory flask that tapers upward to a straight neck |
| FUNNEL | a utensil usually shaped like a hollow cone with a tube extending from the point and used to catch and direct a downward flow |
| GRADUATED CYLINDER | a tall narrow container with a volume scale used especially for measuring liquids |
| PETRIDISH | a device for measuring and transferring small volumes of liquid that typically consists of a narrow glass tube into which the liquid |
| SPOT PLATE | glass plate usually with several small depressions for use in spot test |
| TEST TUBE | a thin glass tube closed at one end used to hold small amounts of material for laboratory testing or experiments |
