TermDefinition
BEAKER a deep cup or glass with a wide mouth usually a lip for pouring
ERLENMEYER FLASH a flat bottomed laboratory flask that tapers upward to a straight neck
FUNNEL a utensil usually shaped like a hollow cone with a tube extending from the point and used to catch and direct a downward flow
GRADUATED CYLINDER a tall narrow container with a volume scale used especially for measuring liquids
PETRIDISH a device for measuring and transferring small volumes of liquid that typically consists of a narrow glass tube into which the liquid
SPOT PLATE glass plate usually with several small depressions for use in spot test
TEST TUBE a thin glass tube closed at one end used to hold small amounts of material for laboratory testing or experiments
