Non-magnetic Does not attract to a magnet
Physical State Whether matter is a solid, liquid or gas
Thermal Conductivity Whether matter allows heat to easily move through it
Thermal Conductor Allows heat to easily move through
Thermal Insulator Does not allow heat to easily move through
Electrical Conductivity Whether matter allows electricity to easily move through
Electrical Conductor Allows electricity to easily move through
Electrical Insulator Does not allow electricity to easily move through
Atom Smallest part of matter
Gas Made of atoms with lots of space between atoms; they move freely
Liquid Made of atoms with space between them and move
Mass Similar to weight, it is how many atoms something has
Matter Anything that has mass and takes up space
Solid Made of atoms packed closely together
