Fire Blanket Safety equipment made of specially treated, fire-resistant fabric and used to smother fires; place over the person and pat out the fire while another person informs the teacher of the issue

Should any chemicals be consumed in the lab? No!! Never ever taste anything from lab (unless instructed to do so by the teacher) as we want to avoid contamination.
When should you work alone in the lab? Never work alone! You always need a partner to help you carry out the procedure and for safety issues! If there is an accident, one person should tell the teacher while the other person tends to the spill or broken glassware.
Should your lab station ever be unattended? No! Make sure to always have someone watching your station to ensure open flames don't get out of control and to ensure nothing is contaminated by another lab group.
