Planets and Matching

Meteors a chunk of rock that burns up in Earth's atmosphere, causing a streak of light to appear in the sky.
Mercury the planet closet to the Sun
Jupiter's Great Red Spot scientists think the storm is red because of sulfur and phosphor and have been blowing for over 400 years.
Saturn's Rings Galileo discovered these rings with his telescope. The rings are made of pieces of ice and rock.
inner planets Mercury, Venus, Earth, Mars
outer planets Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus, Neptune
is a chunk of ice, dust, and rock that moves around the Sun. These often have a tail. Comet
Asteroid a rock that moves around the Sun. Some are as large as boulders while most are pebble size.
Space Probes Scientists send these to explore other planets. It is a vehicle that takes pictures or examine the planet.
