angles for injection: id intradermal: 10-15 degree

im intramuscular: 90 degree
(ID) needle size and length intradermal: guage: 25,26 length:3/8,1/2,5/8
SC (SQ)nedle size and length subcutaneous: guage: 23,25,26 length:3/8,1/2,5/8
Im -needle size and length intramuscular: guage:19,20,21,22 length:1,11/2,2
needle size is determined by guage (diameter of the lumen) and length
lg ? guage, ?small diameter larger guage number = smaller diameter of lumen
sm ? guage, ? diameter smaller guage number = larger diameter of lumen.
needle guage for IM thick solutions 19,20
needle guage for IM thin solutions 20.21
common site for IM injetions deltoid,dorsogluteal,ventrogluteal,vastus lateralis
