Evolution A change in the inherited characteristics of populations from one generation to the next.
Mutation A change in the DNA of a gene that may lead to a different trait.
Parasite A living thing (as a flea, worm, or fungus) that lives in or on another living thing and gets food and sometimes shelter from it and usually causes harm to it
Carrier A person, animal, or plant that carries disease and germs without showing symptoms and passes them on to others
