What is an extrusion? Lava that hardens on the surface.
What is the law of inclusion? If a rock body contained fragments of another rock, it must be younger than the fragments.
What is a fault? A break in Earth's crust.
What is an unconformity? A gap in the geologic record.
What is an index fossils? A fossil used for dating and correlating strata.
