Why do we see better with the lights on? Our eyes use light to see.
Why is it harder to see on a cloudy day? There is less light so it is harder to see.
What is a question we ask to decide if an object is a light source? Does it make light?
Which light source would help you see outside at night? A lamp on a desk, a flashlight, the sun a flashlight
What is true about the shadows throughout the day? The shadows move throughout the day because the sun moves across the sky.
How can we make an object’s shadow bigger? Move the light source farther away
Why does a plucked guitar sting make noise? It vibrates and the vibrations make sound
What happened to the sand on the table when the sound was played? The sand moved around from the vibrations.
Which uses lights in an emergency? A fire truck, a road sign, your parents' car a fire truck
Where does Earth's light come from? the sun
