What is a solution? a combination of two or more substances that are evenly blended and do not separate easily (cannot see the separate parts)
Why is a solution a type of mixture? because it is a combination of two or more substances that combines into one substance

What tools would be used to separate a mixture of sand and water? paper filter
What tool would be used to separate a mixture of lettuce, tomatoes, onions, carrots, cucumbers? hands
