| Canyon | Formed from fast moving water creating a v- shaped gorge. |
| Biofuels or Biomass | Energy made from crops like corn. |
| Precipitation | Rain, snow, sleet or hail. |
| Weathering | The wearing away of sediments by water, wind, waves or ice. |
| Glacier | A slow moving body of ice. |
| Delta | Formed when sediments are deposited at the mouth of a river. |
| Tsunami | A giant ocean wave cause by an earthquake under the ocean. |
| Renewable Resources | Resources that can be replaced over time. |
| Deposition | The dropping of sediments to a new location. |
| Erosion | The carrying away of sediments. |
| Condensation | When vapor turns to water. |
| Soluble | Something that can be dissolved like salt. |
| Non-Renewable Resources | Resources that are limited and can't be replaced. |
| Evaporation | When water turns to vapor. |
| Fault | A crack in the Earth. |
| Stalagmite | Structures that stick up from floor in a cave. They are made from dripping water. |
