Public Speaking

Critical Listening A process that involves both listening for information and evaluating information.
Empathy Understanding and entering into another's feelings.
Hearing The sense through which sound is received, a passive physical.
Listening concentrating on a sound, interpreting, and reacting to it. it is mental process that requires active participation by a receiver.
Precision Exactness. The distinguish clearly.
Retention The ability to remember and recall information.
Selective Listening Listening so as to block out what one does not want to hear.
