What does the connective tissue do? Supports Body Part

What does the Nervous tissue do? Conducts Nerve Impulses
What does the Epithelial tissue do? Covers the body surfaces
What features does the connective tissue have? Ground Substance, Specialized Cells, and Protein fibers
Epithelial Tissue:Squamous composed of flattened cells and found in the lining of air sacs of the lungs
Epithelial Tissue: Cubodinal Single layer of cubed shaped cells. Found in the lining of various glands
Epithelial Tissue: Columnar Found in the lining of small intestines, and is shaped liked columns
Pseudo stratified Columnar found in the lining of the tranchea
Stratified Squamous found in the lining of the nose, mouth. (Protects)
Organs found in the Thoracic Cavity? Heart, Lungs, Esophagus
Organs found in the Abdominal Liver, Spleen, Gallbladder, Pancreas
Types of Skin Cancer Carcinoma, Sarcoma, Leukemia
Two Types of Cell Junctions Tight and Adhesion
Tight Cell Junction allows epithelial cells to form a layer that covers the surface of organs and lines body cavities.
Adhesion Cell Junction firmly attach cytoskeletal fibers of one cell to that of another cell.
Lymph Fluid watery fluid that is delivered from tissue fluid. It also contains WBC
