Natural Resources Things made by nature that people need or use
Alternative Energy Energy from sources that are renewable and are an alternate to fossil fuels
Hydroelectricity the generation and distribution of electricity from the energy of falling water
Geothermal Energy the generation and distribution of electricity from the heat within the earth
Wind Energy the generation and distribution of electricity from the wind turning wind turbines
Solar Energy energy derived from the sun in the form of solar radiation
Biofuel fuel, as wood or ethanol, derived from biomass
Ethanol a biofuel to use as gasoline made from corn
Nuclear Energy the energy released during nuclear fission or fusion to generate electricity
