TermDefinition
Weathering The breaking of rock. (carving, chipping away, breaking down, etc.)
Erosion The movement of rock or sediments. (Takes it, carries it, washes away, etc.)
Deposition The dropping of rocks or sediment in a new location. (dropping, depositing, layering, settling)
Sand Dune Landform created by wind.
Canyon Landform created by moving water.
Delta Landform created by moving water depositing or dropping sediment.
U- Shaped Valley Landform created by glaciers moving and scraping out the land as they do.
