What are ecosystems made of? A system containing Biotic and Abiotic factors.
What is ecological succession? A change in an ecosystem over time.
What is the difference between primary & secondary succession? Primary- slow process that starts from almost no living things. secondary- Started by an event (fire, tornado, ETC.) and hurts the ecosystem.
What is biodiversity? The number and variety of different species of plants and animals in an area
Why is biodiversity important for ecosystems and natural resources? Humans depend on earth's natural resources and great biodiversity has a direct effect.
How have humans impacted our oceans? negative- water pollution and over harvesting. positive- artificial reef.
