PIH an increase in systolic of 30 or more and/or an increase of 15 or more in diastolic on at least 2 occasions 6 hrs apart
Absence of baseling B/P 140/90 is accepted as HTN
Cure for PIH birth is only cure- disappears after first menstrual period
Pre-eclampsia *Hypertension *Protein Uria 1+ (progressive, multisystem disease)
