Medical Care Identification of disease and provision of care and treatment to persons who are sick, injured, or concerned about health.
Health Care expands definition of medical care. Includes: preventive services
Preventive services helps people avoid health and injury problems. Preventive examinations result in early detection of health problems ,allowing less drastic and less expensive treatment.
Health insurance contract between a policyholder and third-party payer or gov. health program to reimburse the policyholder for all or portion of cost of medically treatment or preventative care.
Policyholder person who signs a contract with a health insurance company who owns the health insurances policy. the policy
third-party payer insurance company that provides coverage, such as Bluecross Blueshield.
Health Insurance is avaible to? indviduals who participate in group (employer sponsored), individual (or personal insurance), or prepaid health plans
