HUMAN BODY

HIOW DOES OUR BODY WORK?

QuestionAnswer
WHAT IS A CELL? It is the smallest living unit of the human body. It carrys out life processes
HOW MANY PARTS HAVE THE CELLS? THREE PARTS
WHAT IS THE NAME OF THE CELLSĀ“ PARTS? NUCLEOUS, MEMBRANE AND CYTOPLASM
SIMILAR CELLS FORM... TISSUES
DIFFERENT TISSUES FORM... ORGANS
DIFFERENT ORGANS FORM... SYSTEMS
DIFFERENT SYSTEMS FORM... THE HUMAN BODY
WHY HAVE THE CELLS DIFFERENT FUNCTIONS? BECAUSE EACH CELL HAS A FUNCTION DEPENDS ON THEIR BODY FUNCTION..
WHAT IS THE FUNCTION OF THE MEMBRANE? TO PROTECT THE CELL
WHAT IS THE FUNCTION OF THE CYTOPLASM? TO HAVE ALL THE ORGANELLES
WHAT IS THE FUNCION OF THE NUCLEUS? TO BE THE BRAIN OF THE CELL AND TO HAVE THE DNA OF THE LIVING THING.
NAME THREE ORGANS BRAIN, LIVER AND STOMACH
NAME THREE TISSUES SKIN TISSUE, FAT TISSUE AND BONE TISSUE
WHAT ARE THE THREE VITAL FUNCTIONS? NUTRITION, INTERACTION AND REPRODUCTION
WHY ARE SOME CELLS DIFFERENT TO ANOTHERS? BECAUSE, THEIR SHAPE DEPENDS ON THEIR FUNCTION
WHICH SYSTEMS HELP IN THE NUTRITION FUNCTION? Digestive system, respiratory system, circulatory system and excretory system.
WHICH SYSTEMS WORK IN THE INTERACTION FUNCTION? Muscular system, Locomotor system, Nervous System and Endocrine System
WHICH SYSTEMS WORK IN THE REPRODUCTION FUNCTION? The Female reproductive system and the male reproductive system.
WHO IS THE SYSTEM THAT DETECTS THE WORLD AROUND US? THE MUSCULAR SYSTEM
WHO IS THE SYSTEM THAT TAKE NUTRIENTS THAT WE NEED TO GROW? THE DIGESTIVE SYSTEM
WHO ARE THE SYSTEMS THAT HEL US TO INTERACT? THE SKELETAL AND THE MUSCULAR SYSTEMS
WHICH IS THE ORGAN THAT RECEIVES INFORMATION? THE BRAIN
WHICH IS THE SYSTEM WHO SENDS MESSAGES TO OUR BRAIN? THE NERVOUS SYSTEM
IN WHICH SYSTEM IS THE HEART? CIRCULATORY SYSTEM
IN WHICH SYSTEM ARE THE LUNGS? RESPIRATORY SYSTEM
IN WHICH SYSTEM IS THE STOMACH? IN THE DIGESTIVE SYSTEM
WHAT DO THE CELLS NEED TO LIVE? FOOD AND OXYGEN
WHICH ARE THE BASIC LIFE PROCESSES? NUTRITION, INTERACTION AND REPRODUCTION
WHAT IS THE CELL MEMBRANE? It is a wall . It allows useful substances to go inside it and bloks the harmful substances. It protects the cell.
WHAT IS THE CYTOPLASM? It is a thick, clear liquid composed of water with some solids. It has all the organelles that carry out different life processes.
WHAT IS THE NUCLEUS? It controls everything that happens inside the cell.
TISSUE Group of cells of one type
ORGAN Group of different tissues working together to carry out a job
SYSTEM Group of different organs working together to carry out a job
RED BLOOD CELLS They are flat and circular. They carry out oxygen from the lungs to the muscles and organs
NERVE CELLS They are star-shaped. They transmit nerve impulses from different parts of the body to the brain
REPRODUCTIVE CELLS There are two types of reproductive cells: female and male cells. Female cells are spherical and male cells are oval with a long tail.
How many cells have UNICELLULAR ORGANISMS? 1
How many cells have PLURICELLULAR ORGANISMS? A lot
How many types of cells are there in our body? 200
