What does it mean to form a theory? 1. gives an explanation to why something happens 2. get the same results over and over
What step in the scientific method must be testable? form a hypothesis
What step in the scientific method allows for inferences to be made? gather research/collect data/get info
What's the difference between scientific law and theory? scientific law has reliable results with 100% accuracy and is also a proven thing
What are the 3 main units of the metric system? 1. meter 2. gram 3. liter
In the metric system meter measures? length
In the metric system gram measures? mass
In the metric system liter measures? volume
What did the Aquatic Species Program do? removed air pollution
What is biodesil? preserves fossil fuels by using renewable resources from plants
What is microalgae? discovered it could make biofuel
