Step Number	Steps
Step 1	Do initial steps.
Step 2	Assist resident to sit on edge of bed. Encourage resident to sit for a few seconds to become steady. Check for dizziness.
Step 3	Assist resident to stand on count of three.
Step 4	Allow resident to gain balance, check for dizziness.
Step 5	Stand to side and slightly behind resident.
Step 6	Walk at resident's pace.
Step 7	Do final steps.
