Communities A group of different populations of organisms
Ecosystem A collection of different communities and the abiotic factors.
biome groups of ecosystem
niche the spicific role an organisym plays in a ecosytem
food chain The flow of energy from one organism to the next.
food web Shows the interactions among many different food chains in a single ecosystem.
producer Organism that can create its own food through the process of photosynthesis
consumer Organism that feeds on other organisms or organic matter because it cannot make its own food
decomposer Organisms that break down dead plants and animals into nutrients for the soil
Scavenger An animal the feeds off dead or decaying matter
