| Engineering Design | Method that engineers use to identify and solve problems |

| Evaluate | To determine the significance, worth, or condition of usually by careful appraisal and study |
| Problem | A situation regarded as needing to be dealt with |
| Solution | A means of solving a problem |
| Redesign | The act of changing |
| Prototype | Preliminary model of something, especially a machine, from which other forms are developed or copied |
| Ask | Process in the engineering design: find out more about the problem |
| Imagine | Process in the engineering design: think big, consider the possibilities |
| Plan | Process in the engineering design: think ahead about the steps |
| Create | Process in the engineering design: follow your plan; make a model |
| Improve | Process in the engineering design: look at the model; make it better |
