Variable Something that can change in an investigation
Independent Variable The variable you change in an investigation.
Dependent Variable The variable you observe/measure in the investigation. The data.
Control Variables The variables that you keep the same in a investigation.
Data Information gathered during an investigation.
Conclusion A summary of what you have learned from an investigation.
