Prokaryotic Cell | A cell lacking a nucleus or any other membrane-enclosed organelle. |
Cell Membrane/Membrane | A protective layer that surrounds a cell or an organelle. |
Organelle | A membrane-bound structure inside a cell that performs a specialized function. |
Nucleus | A membrane-bound structure in eukaryotic cells that contains the DNA. |
DNA | Contains information that forms the hereditary material of all cells. |
