Potential Energy Energy that is stored in a system or object.
Kinetic Energy Energy of motion.
Energy Transformation Change of energy from one form to another.
System A group of interacting or interdependent elements forming a complex whole, as in all the factors or variables in an environment, or all the variables that might affect a science experiment.
Total Energy All energy, potential and kinetic, within a specific system.
Joule A unit used to measure energy.
Force Capacity to do work or cause physical change.
Motion Act or process of changing position or place.
Gravitational potential energy Potential energy that is dependent upon position.
