| bronchi | each of the tubes that ends in the trachea and enters the lungs |
| Bronchioles | each of the small ducts in which the bronchi are divided and subdivided into the lungs. |
| Diaphragm | membrane formed mostly by muscle fibers, which separates the thoracic cavity from the abdominal cavity |
| lungs | breathing organ of vertebrates that live or can live out of water. It is spongy, soft, flexible,and occupies a part of the thoracic cavity |
