| Codon | sequence of three nucleotides that codes for one amino acid. |
| Anticodon | set of three nucleotides in a tRNA molecule that binds to a complementary mRNA codon during translation. |

| Exons | sequence of DNA that codes information for protein synthesis. |
| Polypeptide | amino combining the amino group of one amino acid with the carboxyl group of another that’s usually obtained by partial hydrolysis of protein. |
