Urokinase indications lysis of PE or PE with unstable hemodynamics in adults
Urokinase actions Converts endogenous plasminogen to plasmin, which breaks down fibrin clots, fibrinogen, and other plasma proteins, lyses thrombi and emboli
Urokinase adverse effects headache, angioneurmtic edema, hypotension, skin rash, bleeding, breathing difficulties, bronchospasm, pain, fever, anaphylactic shock
Clotting factors and liver disease Liver disease, in which clotting factors and proteins needed for clotting are not produced
