QuestionAnswer
vibration The back-and-forth motion of an object.
energy Ability to do work or cause change.
transparent Describes materials that let nearly all light pass through them.
potential energy Energy that is not causing any change now but could cause changes in the future.
translucent Describes materials that let some light pass through, but not all.
kinetic energy Energy due to motion.
opaque Describes materials that do not let any light pass through them.
reflection Light bouncing off an object.
refraction Bending of light.
pitch The quality of a sound governed by the rate of vibrations producing it; the degree of highness or lowness of a tone.
